Company History

City Travel and Tours Corp. is a privately owned company which is founded by Mrs. Remedios Pangan- Lagman. City Travel was originally registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as Amity Travel – Makati Branch on 1992 and subsequently changed its name to City Travel by the year 2002. And in the same year it was accredited as an IATA travel agency. Last October 18, 2014. City travel officially opened its first branch at Balibago, Angeles City.

City Travel was established primarily to engage in the general business of domestic and foreign tours and travel; to act as agent for transportation companies, both foreign and local; to arrange, conduct and engage in the preparation of all kinds of inbound and outbound tours and travel itineraries; and, to conduct, undertake, provide and sell such other services associated with or necessary in the general business of a travel and tour agency. Now City Travel specializes in handling all aspects of corporate travel.

I. DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL

  1. TRAVEL AND ITINERARY PLANNING
    • Plan and recommend itineraries to suit individual requirements such as home leaves, holidays, educational tours, incentive trips, etc.
    • Innovative and professional itinerary planning for business trips and leisure travel.
  2. HOTEL RESERVATIONS
    • We arrange hotel reservations worldwide.
  3. FARE COMPUTATIONS
    • Arrange for the best possible travel arrangement at the lowest possible cost to meet the client’s allocated budget.
  4. TRAVEL COUNSELLING
    • In addition to planning and recommending an itinerary that is within the client’s budget, we also render travel-counseling services on luggage considerations, basic features of the areas of destination including recommended hotels, restaurants and places to go.
  5. INTERNATIONAL AND DOMESTIC TICKETING AND RESERVATIONS
  6. INCENTIVE TOUR PACKAGE
    • Arrange for group travel, group tour and convention travel. We plan and finalize all services that may be required such as air and land arrangements. We also handle requirements for hotel accommodation, guided tours, sightseeing, etc.
    • Special Interest Groups (i.e. Pilgrimages, Golf Packages, Conventions and Travel Incentives)
  7. VIP AIRPORT ASSISTANCE
    • Arrange for VIP meet-and-greet assistance upon arrival and departure at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA)

II. DOCUMENTATIONS

  1. PASSPORTING
    • File passport applications for passport, renewals, lost etc.
    • Assist in scheduling and filing of passport applications.
    • See to it that all passport application requirements and attachments are authentic to avoid unnecessary delays in the processing.
    • Secure authentication of Birth Certificates, Marriage Certificates, and Affidavit of Name Discrepancies to meet the Department of Foreign Affair (DFA)
  2. VISA
    • Provide advice with regards to various visa applications.
    • Assist in the preparation and evaluation of visa applications and requirements for Filipinos and foreign nationals.
    • Line up for visa applicants in various embassies whenever necessary.
  3. IMMIGRATION
    • Secure exit clearances, special re-entry permits, Visa Extensions, Alien Certificate Registration and other Immigration documents as required: Alien working visa, Special work permits, Resident Visa etc.
  4. DOLE
    • Secure Alien Employment Permit (AEP) for foreign nationals whenever required.
  5. PEZA
    • Secure Special Non Immigrant visa (47A2) for foreign nationals whenever required
